2. “I alone am the honored one” shows a Buddha's
determination to trust himself solely and aim at
becoming an honorable figure without being
disturbed by others.
3. So, Buddha’s words, “Throughout heaven and
earth, I alone am the honored one”, is his own
pledge to become an honorable figure and is
based on his enlightenment attained through
logic and practice.
