Profound conversations

Read deeply the following profound conversations by 3 persons.

A: Researcher/Speaker/Narrative Writer
B: Lightworker
C: Creative Director/Writer

A: Hell is an archetype, but archetypes are imagined--and emotionally signaled constructs. Scientists who study the behavior of quanta have found a physical vacuum between fundamental electric particles and the wave energies released when attempting to observe and measure those particles.
It's an automatic reaction to succumb to emotionally loaded concepts and call the universe "Hell," but hence we might have to call the "Big Bang" a hell as well.

B: The world = The object of our mind = The projection of our mind
David Bohm said, "The way we see depends on the way we think". If there is the "Big Bang", there must be "Big Crunch" also. BTW, this mountain looks like Mt. Fuji.

A: Wonderful! And that "Big Crunch" may be the singularity. At the mouth of the Black Hole.

B: I feel that the singularity, or the mouth of the Black Hole may be the transcending point of the space and time. Namely, the singularity between the phenomenal world (historical dimension) and the noumenal world (ultimate dimension). In other words, "Big Bang" may mean David Bohm's "The implicate, or the enfolded order unfolds into the explicate order, or everything separate.". And "Big Crunch" may mean "The explicate, or the unfolded order enfolds into the implicate order, or the wholeness.".

A: Right-on; I have admired David Bohm's explicate/implicate order for some time. It goes quite far toward explaining the queer behavior of quanta and concluding that space-time might be the result of a seminal "objective reality." Some call this "God," some--"Ultimate Consciousness."

C: Very interesting. . .everything goes back to "perceiving", doesn't it? And, slowly scientists are coming around: Form (objects) are Void (Subject) and Void is Form. Why is that? Because both are the perceiving of them, and the perceiving of them are what they are. Therefore, there is no distinction between them (except conceptually, differentiated by a dichotomized mind, i.e. Duality).

B: I like your comment; "Form (objects) is Void (Subject) and Void (Subject) is Form (objects)." Yes, the perceived is the perceiver. And the perceiver is the perceived. A = B and B = A. This is Emptiness, or Interbeing. Ego's thinking, or mind cuts the unseparable wholeness into separate pieces. David Bohm said, "See, we are the earth because all our substance comes from the earth and goes back. ... Consciousness is much more important than money. Change in consciousness is essential."

C: two quick items: one, the mountain above does look like Mt. Fuji; two, I don't place much stock in David Boehm's utterances.

Any resolution of a duality such as Subject and Object, through negation of "Neither (the one) nor (the other)," takes you to the "Suchness," "Subjectivity," (the Void of Prajna, of Han Shan) of what those concepts ARE when they are neither either. This Suchness is well beyond the ego/mind. It is experienced as a Voidness, which is a plenum. That plenum is the sense of ubiquitous Presence; it's conceptual opposite is Absence. So the "two" are actually cognized as not different, at this level, but with a deflection of "interest" the Absence is transformed into Noumenal Awareness, which is Absolute.

No where, after the negation of subject/object is there any room for conceptual speculation of the kind that Boehm offers, for he is still locked in the mind that is split by those two concepts. Plus, any appearance (of anything) is Dualistic and, if it is conceived, is an interpretation by split mind of that which manifested it, namely Absolute. All the rest is conjecture and speculation from a position that can hardly be said to have experienced the higher states spoken of ...(?)

Materialistic science & Spiritual science

Watch deeply the following videos of William A. Tiller, a professor emeritus of Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University.

William A. Tiller is a professor emeritus of Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University. He has been avocationally pursuing serious experimental and theoretical study of the field of psychoenergetics for over 30 years. He is also the author of Science and Human Transformation
(Wikipedia) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_A._Tiller
(HP) http://www.tillerinstitute.com/

(My commentary)
It's very interesting that William A. Tiller is trying to measure invisible spiritual energy. If he succeeds in proving spiritual energy scientifically, his study may become an integral part of "tomorrow’s" physics.

However, he said that he wants to ask a question to Buddhist master whether consciousness will continue after physical death. This indicates that he does not understand the no birth and no death nature of body and mind. And he also said that consciousness is a by-product of Spirit entering denser matter. This indicates he does not understand the true relation between body and consciousness. I hope he will understand the ultimate truth and continue his further study.

Object of Mind (dharma)

Thay said, "To meditate is to be aware of what is going on, not only in your body, your feeling, your perceptions, but in the world. Because the world is object of your mind."

(My commentary 1)
The world is object of our mind if we think. And object of our mind is our mind because object of our mind is the projection of our mind. The perceived is the perceiver. So, the world is our mind, the projection of our mind, our perception, our idea, our thinking, or illusions. We must also be aware that we need to meditate what is going on both inside and around us. In other words, we meditate not only our inside (the noumenal world) but also our outside (the phenomenal world) without thinking.

David Bohm said, "The way we see depends on the way we think. ... Consciousness is much more important than money. Change in consciousness is essential."

(My commentary 2)
The explanation of this world is exactly the same between Thay and David Bohm (a famous quantum physicist). I understand that the change in consciousness means the transformation of the seeds of mental formation in consciousness. In short,
if we succeed in transforming the unwholesome seeds to the wholesome seeds, we can be happy. (We can't be happy by money.) That's because our perceptions, or thoughts are based on our feelings. And our actions are based on our thoughts, or volition (motivation). Moreover, I understand that the change in consciousness means the transformation of self from ego (separate self) to awareness (non-separate self). That's because ego thinks and awareness attains insight without thinking.

Sister Chan Khong said, "Because if you are quiet, your mind is like still water of the pond, and you can reflect the moon properly."

(My commentary 3)
If the surface of water of the pond is wavy, it can't reflect as they are. But if the water of the pond is calm, it can reflect as they are. The same thing can be said to our mind. If we stop thinking, our mind will be calm like still water of the pond. Then our mind can reflect as they are. So, true nature of reality can be touched only if we stop thinking. That's why we meditate. That's why we revive awareness through mindfulness and attain insight.

Life after Death (2)

Watch the following Thay's video on "Is there life after death?" deeply.

The followings are the excerpts.

Quote:
And scientists have already pronounced (prevacally?) that there is no birth and no death. Nothing is created, nothing is lost. There is only transformation. So, transformation is possible, is real. And birth and death are not real. What you call birth and death, are only transformation. ... When you look at the blue sky, you don't see your cloud anymore. You think your cloud has died. But in fact, your cloud continues always in the form of rain and so on. So, birth and death are seen only on the surface. If you go down, deep down, there is no birth and no death. There is only continuation. And when you touch the continuation, the nature of no birth and no deathyou are no longer afraid of dying.

And not only the Buddhists speak of no birth and no death but science also speaks of no birth and no death. They can exchange their findings. It is very interesting. This is an invitation for us to live our life more deeply so that we can touch our true nature of no birth and no death. And Thay's answer, I know, is only an invitation to practice. We have to live our life more mindfully with concentration so that we can be in touch deeply with what is happening. And then we have a chance to touch the true nature of realityno birth and no death. And that is described in Buddhism with the term of NirvanaNirvana is no birth and no death.

And in Christianity, you may call it the ultimateGodGod is our true nature of no birth and no death. And we don't have to go and find God. God is our true nature. It's like a wave. A wave believes that she is subjected to birth and death. And every time she comes up and begins to go down, she is afraid of dying. A wave is afraid of dying. But if the wave realizes that she is water, she is no longer afraidBefore going up, she is water. Going down, she is water. And after going down, she continues to be water. There is no death.

So, it is very important that the wave do some meditation and realizes that she is wave but she is at the same time water. And when she knows she is water, she is no longer afraid of dying. She feels wonderful going up, she feels wonderful going down. She is free from fearAnd our cloud is also like that. They are not afraid of dyingThey know that if they are not a cloud, they can be something else, equally beautiful like the rain or the snow.

So, the wave does not go and look for water. She doesn't have to go and search for water because she is water in the here and the now. The same thing is true with God. We don't have to look for GodWe are God. God is our true nature. You don't have to go and look for nirvanaNirvana is our ground. That is the teaching of the Buddha. And a number of us have been able to realize that. We enjoy the present moment. We know that it is impossible for us to die.
:Unquote

(My commentary)
For everything (including humans) in the phenomenal world, there is only continuation by changing forms. Nothing can be created and nothing can be destroyed. And the total sum of the energy and mass is conserved in ecosystem according to the law of conservation of energy and mass (E=mc2). Therefore, birth and death are nothing but notions created by humans. The truth is there is no birth and no death. There is only continuation. Everything will continue in different forms eternally.

Thay understands this ultimate truth deeply but explained about life after death based on interbeing, or emptiness by using the conventional truth (by using the notion of birth and death). In the phenomenal world (outside world in space and time), the pairs of opposites are empty of separate existence and are interdependent co-arising. In other words, they are two sides of the same coin. So, if death is there, birth is there at the same time. It is like that the death of the cloud is the birth of the rain. Both of the cloud and the rain is water. They just continue in different form. Water never dies and never be born. Water is always water.

And the same thing can be said to humans also. Humans are always the whole cosmos because we are made of the whole cosmos such as water, air, earth and sunshine. If we understand this ultimate truth of no birth and no death, we will be able to throw away all notions and attain full enlightenment. Meanwhile, in the noumenal world (inside world without space and time), nothing can exist because there is no space and time. And only awareness (Buddha nature or Divine nature) can live in both worlds at the same time because awareness transcends space and time.

Life after Death (1)

Watch the following Thay's video on "Is there life after death?" deeply.

The followings are the excerpts.

Quote:
Life is always with death at the same time. Not only before. And it can not be separated with death. Where there is life, there is death. And where there is death, there is life.

And this needs a little bit of meditation. In Buddhism, we speak of 'interbeing'. It means that you can not be by yourself alone. You have to inter-be with the other side. It's like the left and the right. If the right is not there, the left can not be. If the left is not there, the right can not be. It's not possible to take the left away from the right. It's not possible to take the right away from the left.  ... The right and the left, they want to be together. Because without the other, you can not be. It's very clear like the above and the below. The above can not be there if there is no below. And that is what in Buddhism we call 'interbeing'. They have to be there at the same time.

So, when God said, "Let the light be", and the light said, "Well, I have to wait, my God, I have to wait." "But what are you waiting?" "I am waiting for darkness to manifest together. Because light and darkness, they inter-are." And God said, "Darkness is already there." And the light said, "In that case, I am already there."

So, that is true with good and evil, before and after, here and there, you and I. I can not be there without you. The lotus flower can not be there without the mud. Without the mud, there is no lotus possible. There is no happiness without suffering. There is no life without death

And when the biologists observes the body of a human being, they see that life and death happen at the same time in the body, the body of a human being. They see that life and death happen at the same time in the body. In this very moment, thousands and thousands of cells are dying. When you scratch like this, many dry cells fall down. They have died. And many cells die every moment of our daily life. Because you are so busy, you don't notice that you are dying. If they die, you are dying. You think that you don't die yet, you have to wait for 50 or 70 years later in order to die a death. Not true. Death is not down the road, death is right here and right now. So, death is happening in the here and now at each moment

And because of the dying of a number of cells, the birth of other cells is possible. So, many cells are being born in the present moment. And we don't have the time to organize a happy birthday for them. So, the fact is that scientifically speaking, you can already see birth and death happening in the present moment. And because of the dying of cells, the birth of cells is possible. Because the birth of cells is possible, the dying of cells is possible. They lean on each other to be.

So, you are experiencing dying and being born in every moment. Don't think you were only born on that moment. That moment written on your birth certificate is just one moment. And that is not the first moment. Before that moment, there were moments you were already there. Before you were conceived in the womb of your mother, you had already been there in your father and in your mother in another form. So, there is no birth, no really beginning and there is no ending.

So, when we know that birth and death are together always, we are no longer afraid of dying. Because at the moment of dying, there is birth also. Birth comes with death. There they can't be separated. This is a very deep meditation. And you should not meditate with your brain alone. You have to observe life during your daily life. And you see birth and death inter-are in everything. Trees, animals, weather, matter, energy.

The Universal Force of Love by Einstein

Here is the most beautiful letter I have ever seen in my life.

Quote:
When I proposed the theory of relativity, very few understood me, and what I will reveal now to transmit to mankind will also collide with the misunderstanding and prejudice in the world.

I ask you to guard the letters as long as necessary, years, decades, until society is advanced enough to accept what I will explain below.

There is an extremely powerful force that, so far, science has not found a formal explanation to. It is a force that includes and governs all others, and is even behind any phenomenon operating in the universe and has not yet been identified by us. This universal force is LOVE.

When scientists looked for a unified theory of the universe they forgot the most powerful unseen force. Love is Light, that enlightens those who give and receive it. Love is gravity, because it makes some people feel attracted to others. Love is power, because it multiplies the best we have, and allows humanity not to be extinguished in their blind selfishness. Love unfolds and reveals. For love we live and die. Love is God and God is Love.

This force explains everything and gives meaning to life. This is the variable that we have ignored for too long, maybe because we are afraid of love because it is the only energy in the universe that man has not learned to drive at will.

To give visibility to love, I made a simple substitution in my most famous equation. If instead of E = mc2, we accept that the energy to heal the world can be obtained through love multiplied by the speed of light squared, we arrive at the conclusion that love is the most powerful force there is, because it has no limits.

After the failure of humanity in the use and control of the other forces of the universe that have turned against us, it is urgent that we nourish ourselves with another kind of energy.

If we want our species to survive, if we are to find meaning in life, if we want to save the world and every sentient being that inhabits it, love is the one and only answer.

Perhaps we are not yet ready to make a bomb of love, a device powerful enough to entirely destroy the hate, selfishness and greed that devastate the planet.

However, each individual carries within them a small but powerful generator of love whose energy is waiting to be released.

When we learn to give and receive this universal energy, dear Lieserl, we will have affirmed that love conquers all, is able to transcend everything and anything, because love is the quintessence of life.

I deeply regret not having been able to express what is in my heart, which has quietly beaten for you all my life. Maybe it’s too late to apologize, but as time is relative, I need to tell you that I love you and thanks to you I have reached the ultimate answer!.

Your father,
Albert Einstein

(Einstein wrote to his daughter about the universal force of love. The letter was released in the 1980’s along with over a thousand other letters that he wrote to different people. But unfortunately this letter seems to represent an obvious forgery. I didn't know that fact, and I wrote my letter to Einstein below from the bottom of my heart.)

(My letter to Einstein)
                                                                   March 14, 2016
Dear Albert Einstein,

Thank you for giving me a chance to read your letter to your daughter about the universal force of love. I am aware that you are still alive in different forms (energy /or matter), so I will share precious information for you in order to show my gratitude.

I almost agree with you about the universal force of love. I am so glad to know that you understood the ultimate truth in the noumenal world in addition to the ultimate truth in the phenomenal world. That is the proof that you were studying not only the outer world but also inner world.

You said that the universal force of LOVE has not yet been identified by us. But the Buddha identified it and invented how to generate it 2,600 years ago and Thich Nhat Hanh has been teaching how to generate it throughout his life. I am sure that you wanted to meet Thay and learn his teachings during your past life.

You said, "Love unfolds and reveals. For love we live and die. Love is God and God is Love." As for "Love unfolds and reveals", David Bohm explained the relation between the phenomenal world and the noumenal world in quantum physics as followings. "The implicate, or the enfolded order unfolds into the explicate order, or everything separate. The explicate, or the unfolded order enfolds into the implicate order, or the wholeness." In short, the explicate order (phenomenal world) is the manifestations of the implicate order (noumenal world).

As for "For love we live and die", I don't know why you mentioned about 'being and non-being' ('birth and death'). That's because you proved scientifically that there is 'no being and no non-being' ('no birth and no death') through E = mc2. Nothing can be created and nothing can be destroyed. There is only continuation in different forms. I guess that you used the words based on the conventional truth for your daughter's understanding.

You said that love is the only energy in the universe that man has not learned to drive at will. As I mentioned above, the Buddha had learned to drive love at will. His method is called mindfulness, concentration and insight. And love can be generated through understanding (insight). Understanding (insight) can be attained through deep looking (concentration). And deep looking (concentration) is possible through mindfulness. Mindfulness can be attained through mindful breathing, mindful walking, mindful sitting...etc. Mindfulness enables us to transform ourselves from ego (separate self) to awareness (non-separate self, true self).

I agree to your formula of E = lc2 (the energy to heal the world can be obtained through love multiplied by the speed of light squared). Thich Nhat Hanh explains this energy as collective energy. When many practitioners in the community (sangha) generate the energy of mindfulness at the same time, the collective energy will be immense. This collective energy can be explained as your "love multiplied by the speed of light squared".

You said, "When we learn to give and receive this universal energy, dear Lieserl, we will have affirmed that love conquers all, is able to transcend everything and anything, because love is the quintessence of life." I fully agree with you and I am happy to inform you that we can learn how to give and receive this universal energy in the here and the now. That's because the Buddha's teachings are more than enough to do it.

I hope you are relieved after reading my letter to you. And I am convinced that you will prove "E = lc2" scientifically in your next human life. I look forward to that day to awaken all humans on this planet. Happy continuation day, Albert Einstein!

Your friend,
Hitoshi Tsuchiyama

(My commentary)
I really wonder who wrote this letter. Only thing I can tell is that this writer is not honest and fair because s/he deceived us by using Einstein's name. In this sense, s/he is an ego. That's why s/he was not aware of how to generate love.

Seeds of Consciousness

Thay mentioned the followings regarding the seeds of mental formations.

"According to the Buddha, the birth of a human being is not a beginning but a continuation, and when we’re born, all the different kinds of seedsseeds of goodness, of cruelty, of awakening—are already inside us. Whether the goodness or cruelty in us is revealed depends on what seeds we cultivate, our actions, and our way of life." (Excerpted from Thich Nhat Hanh’s Introduction to “Love’s Garden: A Guide to Mindful Relationships”)
(Cf.) http://www.lionsroar.com/growing-together/

"His anger will be stored in the depth of his consciousness as what we call an "internal knot". This knot is what becomes a grudge or feeling of resentment. It's like having a cold. When we become sick, if we do not take the right medicine or let someone give us a massage, our cold may go deeply into our body and becomes much more difficult to cure. When our anger goes deeply into our consciousness, it creates an internal knot that might cause us to have agressive gestures or unpleasant behaviour without our knowing it." (Excerpted from Thich Nhat Hanh’s 'Joyfully Together')

(My Question)
Why and how does this happen? Have Thay explained it before?

(My Commentary)
I remember Thay said that we carry our ancestor's burdens and gifts. I can understand that we are the continuation of our ancestors (not only humans but also animals, plants and minerals), but I want to know why and how this continuation happens. Seeds of consciousness are the key. However, I don't know if Thay has mentioned the mechanism of this continuation. I guess Thay may not have mentioned that mechanism because it has not been proved scientifically. Thay has been very careful to mention about past karma of our previous manifestations because he doesn't want to teach deluded Buddhism. So, when that mechanism (why and how the seeds are sown in store consciousness) and the relation between body and consciousness (every particle enfolds into consciousness, and consciousness unfolds into body) is proved scientifically, Thay may begin to talk about it.

Brain and Awareness

Watch the following video:

My comment:
Brain creates illusions. So, the reality can't be perceived by brain. Reality can be touched only by awareness (awakened consciousness), namely subconscious. The key is thinking or non-thinking. Because if we think, we see the projection of mind, namely illusions. Subject of mind is equal to object of mind. In other words, the perceiver is the perceived. If we stop thinking, we transform ourselves from brain (ego) to awareness. And we can touch the reality as it is. There is no differentiation between subject and object. That's because awareness can become one with object. Awareness always attains insight through mindfulness and concentration. For example, even if our brain sees the star through eyes and think that its existence is the reality, awareness attains insight that the star may have disappeared 1,000 years of light ago.

Do we see reality as it is?

Watch the following video of "Do we see reality as it is?".

The followings are my comments on this video.

I understand as follows:
* perception of reality = illusion (by Ego)
* insight of reality = reality (by Awareness)

David Bohm said, "The way we see depends on the way we think". So, everything depends on who "we" are. If we are ego (separate self), we think and what we see is the projection of our mind, namely an illusion. Meanwhile, if we are awareness (non-separate self), we don't think and can directly touch the reality as it is. In other words, we become one with the reality without differentiation between subject and object

The Buddha advised us not to be fooled by what we perceive. He said, "Where there is perception, there is deception." The Buddha also taught on many occasions that most of our perceptions are erroneous, and that most of our suffering comes  from wrong perceptions. And wrong perceptions are caused by ego's thinking (brain).

David Bohm also said, "Consciousness is much more important than money. Change in consciousness is essential." Yes, we can transform consciousness from ego to awareness only by one in-breath. And we can be always awareness (subconscious) through mindfulness, concentration and insight, like Buddha and Thich Nhat Hanh.

What is life?

Watch the following Jeremy England's video.

The following excerpts from the video are very interesting because they are very similar to Buddhist words.

Quote:  * (): Buddhist words
(5:46-5:52)
So, physics doesn't make any distinctions between the particles that are in the whale and the particles in the water around it.
(The Diamond Sutra recommends that we remove the four notions of self, man/human, living beings, and lifespan to free ourselves.)

(16:47)
All living things are made of matter
(We are made of non-we elements, namely the whole cosmos such as water, air, minerals and sunshine.)

All living things need to eat
(Nothing can survive without food.)

All living things give off heat
(The nature of reality, namely of matter and energy, is the nature of no birth and no death.)

All living things can't grow backwards
(Things are changing. Impermanence)
:Unquote

(My commentary)
☆ Irrespective of whether we are humans, animals, plants or minerals, we are all the same as the whole cosmos, or the wholeness.
☆ Jeremy England has been studying the truth in the phenomenal world (matter). If he combines the truth in the noumenal world (consciousness) through the theory of the implicate order and the explicate order in quantum physics with his theory, he may be able to prove the no-birth and no-death nature of consciousness scientifically. (the no-birth and no-death nature of matter has been already proved scientifically by the law of conservation of energy and mass.)  All he needs to do is to look more deeply into his theory in order to touch the truth in the noumenal world.
