「2014年が幸福な一年になるか、惨めな一年になるかは私たち自身にかかっています。ですから、元旦に少なくとも、より誠実で思いやりのある人間になる決意をし、まずは自分の内面の平和を創造しそれをより多くの人にシェアしようとすることです。それが幸福な一年にする方法ですよね？！ですから、そのように考えて下さい。」（超訳）
